Amina Invisible speakers were used throughout the property with the most challenging areas being the dining room and the conservatory for different reasons.

The original plans were to install traditional loudspeakers recessed into the dining room ceiling. This was vetoed immediately by local planning and conservation officers. The solution was to install two AIW5X speakers into a suspended ceiling, the finishing wow factor was provided by gilding over the skimmed plaster surface.

The conservatory provided a challenge of its own with its glass walls and roof providing a light, airy and acoustically harsh environment. The incredibly thin profile thin of the Amina vibrational soundboard speakers meant that with a simple plinth erected across the door lintel the speakers could be hidden anonymously within.

Here again the Amina’s audio delivery technology paid other dividends. As the sound waves in the speaker evolve in all directions - a hemispherical wave - the sound sweeps through the entire space and into tight corners to give a more even, ambient coverage.

And because the wave from a vibrational surface is complex and defuse, just like a piano, the product is ideal for “acoustically reflective environments” i.e. rooms full of hard surfaces. The reflections quite literally sum with the original wave enhancing the all-encompassing experience.
